Tonight I watched a young white NYPD officer walk down the center of a 2 train at 11 pm, pass 2 white people with their heads tipped back, eyes closed but stop in front of a youngish black man in business attire, also simply closing his eyes, not taking up space, and kick him awake.
Officer Biondi is the name I saw on his badge as he passed me to cruise the next car for non-white evildoers.
Do they not know they are being watched?!?! There’s no way he’d have kicked the knees of the white woman who also had her eyes closed and she was being just as offensive as the man. She just didn’t have the audacity to be black on an 11 pm train.
